Christine Namubiru is CoCuDi’s program associate in Uganda. she is a Professional Social Worker (in January 2020 she will receive her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Social Administration at Makerere University Kampala). Christine has vast internship and volunteer experience on local and International Projects such as Keeping Children in Healthy and Protective Families led by Catholic Relief Services, None in Three Research Center Uganda under Makerere University Department of Social Work and Social Administration, and the Uganda Systems Strengthening Project Extension led by Catholic Relief Services. She has also done peer education with Reach a Hand Uganda on matters of sexuality with the youth.
She has vast knowledge and experience in social research, child protection, social protection, social policy analysis and activism among other diverse social work fields. She has conducted a research on the Organization and management of local saving groups and how they contribute to the social welfare of the urban poor.
